YES! Our choux pastries and other Southeast Asian specialties are made to order and filled fresh the day of pick-up. There's NO FROZEN STUFF IN THIS BAKERY! You won't find any COSCTO, SAM'S CLUB, or stale grocery store treats in our baked goods. So, YES! The high cost accurately reflects the high quality of the product.

Depending on the size and quantity of your order, we kindly ask for a 48-hour turnaround time from the time we receive your order form. Order forms are instantly sent to our order inbox after payment is received.

Yes! Once your order is placed, you may pick up your pastries any day during our pickup and/or delivery window. Depending on the time of your Sunday celebration, you can either pick up or have your sweets delivered for a little fee on the day of your party. To satisfy the demand, Sweet Rice Flour is open half day on Sunday from 9:30AM. to noon.

We can generally accommodate small orders with 48 hours notice. Larger orders (five dozen or more) can usually be filled with two weeks' notice. However, depending on the volume of orders we have for that particular week, we sometimes have to cut off orders. We highly suggest placing your order as soon as you know the details of your event to avoid disappointment. Sweet Rice Flour is a one-woman enterprise with occasional help, and shares a commissary kitchen with others, so we do often hit capacity on certain weeks!

Yes! Upon the placement of an order, you will receive an ORDER CONFIRMATION email alerting you that we have received your order. Please enter a "valid" email address if you want to simply provide an email address as your primary point of contact. Your email address will only be used to communicate pickup and delivery. In addition, a day before our arranged pickup or delivery date, we will send you a fulfillment email to remind you of your selected method of receiving your treats (pick-up time, pick-up location, and/or approximate delivery timeframe). Yes, every single one of our desserts is gluten-free. Our crepe cakes are available both with and without gluten. Both our taro coconut pudding and jade flower mochi are gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan. Disclaimer: Because we bake everything in a shared commissary, we cannot guarantee that there is no risk of cross-contamination, but we do our best to ensure it! We do not offer any items that are sugar-free. If we ever do develop any items in the future that fits the standards, they will be announced on our social media.

So glad you asked! NO! Our choux puffs, cakes, mochi, and taro pudding sweetness level is considered "Asian Sweet," meaning they are not as sweet as cupcakes or cake frosting. All our treats are made using only high-quality ingredients, including real butter, milk, flour, sugar, eggs, fine chocolate, and fresh fruit puree.

Yes! Some of the cream filling contains nuts. If there are nuts in any of our products, they are either presented visibly on the item or they are labeled in the flavor menu with the type of nut. When refrigerated, all of Sweet Rice Flour's pastries, crepe cakes and/or pudding have a shelf life of 7–10 days. Our mochi is best consumed within 3-4 days of receiving and can be left at room temperature away from direct heat or sunlight.

At Sweet Rice Flour, food safety is taken very seriously! There are real ingredients in all our choux puff(s), crepe cake(s) and Southeast Asian dessert(s). They are scratch made, so there are no preservatives, shelf stabilizers, or artificial flavors. Eggs and lactose-free dairy products are used in our cream fillings. Our crepe cakes remain in our refrigerator until you pick them up or we deliver them to ensure you are getting a safe-to-eat product. After picking up your crepe cake(s), we suggest returning it to the refrigerator when you arrive at your destination, unless you will be consuming it within a couple of hours. Our choux puff(s) may sit at room temperature (away from direct heat or sunlight) in a cool area (depending on weather). If the choux puff(s) will not be consumed immediately within a 4 hour window, we recommend putting them in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve.

Customers have shared that after leaving their choux puff(s) out overnight in a sealed container, the texture and freshness have not changed. We don't suggest leaving them outside all night. The best way to store leftover choux puff(s) is in airtight containers in the refrigerator. They taste just as delicious chilled!

When transporting delicate desserts, it is critical to exercise extreme caution. All our products should be kept as flat as possible when transporting. It is best to hold all items by the box's bottom rather than its sides. They should be placed carefully on the floor of your car or in the trunk of an SUV or hatchback, not the trunk of a sedan. Seats in cars are slanted and could potentially damage your order. All our products should be kept out of direct heat or sunlight for extended periods of time. We do our best to securely box your order for the easiest transport, but once the product leaves our kitchen, we are no longer responsible for it.

Yes! We only offer delivery locally within a 20-mile radius of 1670 Jasper Street #H, Aurora CO 80011. We deliver to the following cities: Aurora, Denver, DIA, Parker, Southland, Centennial, and Lone Tree. However, if your zip code is within our delivery radius but is not listed in our delivery database, please notify us by sending a form on the CONTACT and HOURS page. We usually respond to emails immediately, but it may take up to 24 hours. In addition, deliveries have a specific fee dependent on the distance we need to travel.

No, we do not ship any of our products out of state; however, we have had customers visiting Denver successfully carry choux puffs on the airplane.

Sure! Custom-designed decorative chocolate discs are only permissible with catering orders. Fees are charged for the complexity of the design.
